The Main Hall
The Hall belongs to the Parish of Chipstable.
The Main Hall has a useful stage with curtains and projector screen and changing rooms at the rear.
There is enough space, and adequate tables, chairs, crockery etc, to seat 80 people for a meal.
Kitchen
There is a large, well equipped kitchen with a hatch for easy serving into the main hall.
There is a large fridge/freezer, double-oven electric cooker with large hobs, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, wall-mounted water heater for boiling water and a kettle.
There is also a heated hostess trolley that is stored in the locked store room.
Meeting & Storage Room
There is also a smaller room that is useful for committee meetings etc.
This room has double doors leading into the kitchen, so is useful for extra storage when catering for a large number of people.
There is a locked storage room with a table tennis table, keyboard and digital projector which can be hired upon request.
Garden
There is a pleasant garden area at the West end of the hall.
There is also a cabin that can be used for children's activities in the summer.
The hall does have several gazebos which can be hired upon request.
Well behaved dogs are welcome in the garden area but please clean up behind them.
Access
There are a few steps at the front entrance of the hall.
Disabled access to the main hall can be obtained via the ramp to the rear entrance where there is also a disabled toilet.
Parking
On road parking is available along the front of the building and extra/overflow parking can be found in a large parking layby on the main road opposite the hall.
The New Extension
The new extension opened in 2009. A lot of work went into researching, form-filling and fund-raising.
